Did i mention, this also works in combination with StaticPublisher?
I dont quite understand how the images end up on amazon in the first place with this approach.
When the user uploads an image in the cms how does it end up in amazon? Or do you need to sync your server and amazon every time you make a change to assets?
Hi Nick,
it's handled automatically by cloudfront. There you can set a source origin, your server URL in this case.
If a request isn't in cdn's cache it's automatically grabbed and cached for some time. You can set this time with the http expiry header (new feature since march 2012 afaik).
